Un bellissimo progetto messo in piedi in quel di Perugia. Giovani artisti in mostra, tanti appuntamenti.
Ecco il loro manifesto:
“Comma” è la virgola, la pausa in una frase, un momento per prendere respiro, una sospensione. La virgola non interrompe il discorso, ma apre ad un nuovo dialogo, lascia spazio per pensare e a volte suggerisce un finale differente. Questo progetto vuole creare un incontro tra artisti e un confronto con la città. Un momento sospeso nel tempo che lascerà il segno di quello che è stato, una traccia di un gruppo di artisti che condividono la quotidianità e l’intenzione.
Con questo progetto, Perugia presenta il lavoro di 15 artisti di 8 nazionalità diverse, tutti residenti ad Amsterdam. I lavori saranno divisi tra spazi espositivi e interventi pubblici, entrando così in contatto con un audience diversificato e creando una connessione diretta con la città.
The comma indicates a pause in a sentence. It is the moment of breathing; is a suspension. The comma doesn’t break down the conversation, but opens to a new dialogue, leaves the space to think and sometimes suggests a different ending.
This project intends to create a meeting point among artists, and a connection with the city. A moment suspended in time that will leave a sign of what happened, a trace of a group of artists who share the daily life and the final aim.
With this project, Perugia presents the work of 15 artists of 8 different nationalities, all resident in Amsterdam. The works will be split into exhibition spaces and public interventions, getting in touch with a widely diversified public and establishing a direct connection with the city.
